Full Time Nanny in Key Biscayne (Travel Included)
We are looking for an experienced, warm, and reliable nanny to support a family with two young children in a structured and active household. This role requires someone who is confident caring for both a toddler and a baby, comfortable following established routines, and able to communicate clearly throughout the day. The position is full-time, with a mix of weekday and weekend hours, and includes regular travel with the family.
Responsibilities
Provide attentive, developmentally appropriate care for the children, with a primary focus on the toddler and occasional support for the baby.
Manage daily routines, including school pickups, meals and snacks, naps, afternoon activities, bath time, and bedtime.
Plan engaging, age-appropriate play and outings, and support the children’s emotional regulation using gentle, consistent discipline.
Keep children’s areas organized and tidy, including bedrooms, play spaces, and their belongings.
Handle child-related laundry, basic tidying, and any cleanup related to the children.
Assist with light household tasks on weekends or as needed (general tidying, dishes, small organization projects).
Travel with the family and help with packing, unpacking, airport logistics, and setting up children’s items in hotels or rental homes.
Schedule
This position averages 40–55 hours per week.
Typical weekday hours fall between late morning and early evening, generally around 11:00 a.m.–9:00 p.m., with some flexibility.
Weekend shifts are usually 9:00 a.m.–9:00 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday.
The nanny will have two days off each week, rotating with the second nanny. On two rotating days, this nanny will care for both children; on the opposite days, the second nanny will handle both children. The remaining days involve shared coverage.
Qualifications
Strong background working with infants and toddlers, ideally with experience supporting two children under three.
Valid passport and ability to travel regularly.
Clean background check.
Comfortable using a shared digital calendar to follow schedules and routines.
Good English communication skills; Spanish or Russian is a plus.
Valid driver’s license; having a personal car is preferred.
Able to safely lift and carry a stroller, car seat, and luggage.
Personal Qualities
We’re looking for someone warm, calm, and grounded—someone who can bring structure while still being flexible as family needs shift. Strong communication is essential, especially with the family assistant. The ideal candidate is organized, discreet, proactive, and able to blend naturally into a busy household.
Compensation
The position is paid hourly with overtime. Benefits are provided. Travel compensation will be finalized with the selected candidate, and the family is open to discussing a structure that feels fair to both sides.
