Weekend Live-in Nanny/Family Assistant in Topanga (every other weekend)

We are seeking a warm, positive, and highly reliable Nanny/Family Assistant to support a father and his sweet, easygoing 5-year-old son. The schedule will be every other weekend. On Fri at 2:30pm, you will pick the child up from school in Laurel Canyon and take him to his father's house in Topanga where you will live-in until Mon 8am. The father would prefer a candidate who can also work on Thu afternoons (not a requirement).

This role requires someone who is proactive, organized, caring, and able to take initiative. The ideal candidate is confident working independently and enjoys creating structure and ease in a busy household. The father has a demanding work schedule and values someone who can anticipate needs, problem-solve, and help manage daily responsibilities efficiently. Weekend live-in support is preferred to allow flexibility, even though the child sleeps very well.

Ideal Candidate:

Responsibilities:

• Childcare support and driving

• Grocery shopping and meal preparation

• Laundry, tidying, and organizing (kitchen and child’s room)

• Managing appointments and schedules

• Running errands and handling returns

• Preparing breakfast

• General household organization and support
  

Growth Opportunity:

For the right candidate, there is potential to expand this role into a full-time position, including additional personal assistant and light property/location management duties. The father has Airbnb units on the property, and additional work may be available on non-custody days.

Salary:

• $1,500 for the weekend

• DOE hourly rate if you work on Thursdays
