Full Time Driver/Household Assistant in Miami Beach

A private family of five in North Miami is seeking a full-time Driver/Household Assistant to join their household team. The family has recently relocated and is in the process of building a trusted, long-term staff. This role is ideal for a flexible, reliable professional who is comfortable being on standby and stepping in to support day-to-day household needs as they arise.

The household includes three young children; however, all childcare is handled by dedicated caregivers. This position focuses on driving, oversight, and general household support.

Responsibilities include:

• Driving principals and family members as needed throughout the day

• Remaining on standby during work hours, often waiting in the vehicle until needed

• Running errands and handling local tasks (shopping, deliveries, returns, appointments)

• Being an extra set of hands at the residence as needed

• Supervising vendors, contractors, and service providers when they are on-site

• Conducting periodic check-ins at the home to ensure everything is running smoothly

• Assisting with light household coordination and reporting directly to the principals

• Maintaining cleanliness and readiness of assigned vehicle(s)

Qualifications:

• Prior experience as a private driver and/or household assistant preferred

• Clean driving record and strong knowledge of the local area

• Professional, discreet, and dependable

• Comfortable with downtime and a role that requires flexibility and availability

• Strong communication skills and ability to take direction directly from the principals

• Trustworthy, proactive, and detail-oriented

Schedule: Monday through Friday, full-time (flexibility required)

Compensation: Salary commensurate with experience (DOE)
