Personal Assistant/House Manager in Laguna Beach
We are seeking a Personal Assistant/House Manager to support a private couple and manage their residence. This is a full-time, on-site role that requires flexibility, discretion, and strong organizational skills.
Schedule: Full-time, approximately 40 hours per week (Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM, with flexibility for occasional evenings, weekends, overnights, or travel as needed)
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as both Personal Assistant and House Manager, overseeing daily operations and household needs
Manage personal and professional calendars
Arrange travel, including booking flights, hotels, and transportation; assist with packing and unpacking
Manage household staff (chef, housekeeper, gardeners, dog sitter), set standards, and provide guidance and training
Plan and coordinate events, holidays, and gatherings
Oversee home maintenance, repairs, and renovation projects
Handle household bills, track expenses, and maintain budgets
Maintain household inventory, restock supplies, and ensure the home stays organized
Keep detailed records of medical information and evolving medical needs
Maintain organized records of all household and personal matters
Run errands, shop for groceries, and purchase gifts
Provide daily care for one English Bulldog
Support the care of the employer’s mother, managing a team of three caregivers
Ideal Candidate:
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Personal Assistant, House Manager, or in a similar role within a private household
Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
Discreet, dependable, and adaptable
Strong emotional intelligence and communication skills
Confident managing staff and vendors and navigating a dynamic household environment
Comfortable with dogs and providing their care as needed
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Salary: DOE + Benefits: health insurance (100% employer-covered after 90 days)
