Part-Time Afternoon Housekeeper / Cook – Tarzana, CA

We are seeking an experienced, reliable, and detail-oriented Part-Time Housekeeper / Cook for a beautiful 11,000 sq. ft. private residence in Tarzana. The home is occupied by one principal and her two cats.

The ideal candidate is someone who takes pride in maintaining a clean, organized home and enjoys preparing simple, fresh, healthy meals.

Schedule:

• Part-Time, approximately 4–5 hours per afternoon

• Preferred hours: 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM

• Flexible start time for candidates who have a morning position

Compensation: $35/hour, cash (Flexible for the right candidate)

Responsibilities

• Full-charge housekeeping and general upkeep of the 11,000 sq. ft. residence - most areas aren't used.

• Daily cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and maintaining all living areas

• Laundry, ironing, and linen care

• Maintaining an organized and well-stocked household

• Grocery shopping before arriving at the residence (you'll be paid for your commute/shopping time)

• Preparing a simple, healthy dinner for one person, such as a protein, fresh vegetables, and salad

• Kitchen cleanup and general organization

• Occasional household errands as needed

• Caring for the two cats

Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a private residence

• Strong housekeeping skills and excellent attention to detail

• Comfortable preparing simple, healthy home-cooked meals

• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently

• Reliable transportation for grocery shopping and errands

• Must be trustworthy, discreet, organized, and dependable

• Must be comfortable working around cats
