Full Time Travel PA based in LA
A UHNW family is seeking an experienced and professional Travel Assistant to provide comprehensive support in their day-to-day personal and household needs. The Travel Assistant will coordinate family activities and manage personal tasks, while also collaborating with other household staff and external service providers. The ideal candidate will have exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills, communicate effectively, and be capable of anticipating the needs of the family.
Key Responsibilities:
Family Assistance:
o Provide on-the-ground support for family travel
o Provide support and assistance in managing the principals’ extended family.
o Packing, unpacking, and acting as a valet for the company President and familywhen they are traveling.
o Assist with personal shopping, wardrobe management, and gift purchasing.
o Organize household inventory, order supplies, and ensure items are restocked whenneeded.
o Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% of working time, with peak travel duringsummer months.
Event & Project Coordination:
o Assist in planning and executing family events, holidays, and special occasions.
o Assist team with personal and family projects, ensuring timelines and goals are met.
Administrative Support:
o Handle confidential matters, including correspondence, document management, and financial transactions.
Qualifications:
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Discretion and confidentiality are paramount.
• Exhibit poise and professionalism in all situations, with a premium on respect andreliability.
• 24/7 mentality. Ability to work flexible hours, including frequent weekends andholidays.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency with technology, including calendars, spreadsheets, Teams, Ramp, Expensify, and Asana.
• Experience coordinating high-end travel, events, reservations, and luxury services.
• Must thrive in a team environment and work closely with others to achieve goals.
• Must ensure accountability for delivering results by consistently meeting deadlines, maintaining high standards, and taking ownership of assigned tasks and projects.
• Must be proactive and have strong ability to anticipate the needs of the family and team to ensure seamless coordination and support.
