Full-Time House Manager – Thousand Oaks
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (flexibility needed for occasional weekends!)
Compensation: DOE + Competitive Benefits

We are seeking a discreet, highly organized, and experienced House Manager to oversee the smooth daily operations of a property in Thousand Oaks for a single gentleman and his family. This is a full-time role working closely with the Estate Manager, Housekeeper, and Houseman to ensure seamless coordination of household functions and top-tier service.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and coordinate daily household operations across residence.

2. Supervise housekeeping standards, ensuring interiors, fine finishes, and delicate surfaces are maintained to the highest level.

3. Manage household inventory, supplies, and vendor relationships.

4. Schedule and oversee maintenance, repairs, and service providers.

5. Coordinate errands, shopping, and household purchasing (mileage reimbursed).

6. Support and manage wardrobe care in collaboration with household staff.

7. Ensure smooth transitions for family schedules, including periods when teenage children are in residence.

8. Act as the point of contact for staff and contractors, ensuring communication is clear and consistent.

Ideal Candidate:

1. 5+ years of experience managing private high-end households.

2. Strong leadership skills, able to direct and collaborate with staff while maintaining a hands-on approach when needed.

3. Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.

4. Proactive, discreet, and detail-oriented with excellent follow-through.

5. Comfortable managing multiple properties and prioritizing tasks efficiently.

6. Professional, calm, and respectful presence with the ability to anticipate household needs.

7. Strong concierge skills/service abilities
