Full-Time Family Assistant/Nanny in Santa Monica

We’re looking for a cheerful Full-Time Family Assistant/Nanny in Santa Monica. The family has 2 sweet and lovely children, ages 20 months and 3.5 years. The older child goes to school and naps for 3-4 hours after coming home in the afternoon, so childcare will mostly be with the toddler (who also naps 2-3 hours every afternoon) when Mom has work/personal obligations or is picking up the older child from school. Typical hours are Mon-Fri 8am-4pm or 10am-6pm, depending on the family's obligations each week; schedule will be provided well in advance of each week. Availability for occasional evenings or a few hours on a weekend are preferable but not required. Duties include light cooking for family, family’s laundry, light housekeeping, and errands. This is a very calm, happy, organized, easy-going household - looking for someone who can match that energy. The ideal candidate pitches in wherever needed, has a positive attitude, and can be playful and silly with the children. The younger child has food allergies, so detail-oriented is a priority. Must be Covid-conscious and willing to wear a mask in the house so both family and nanny are protected in case of any exposures. Salary: $30-$35/hr
