Full-Time 2nd Assistant to High-Profile Comedian in Mandeville Canyon (Travel)

We are looking for a highly motivated, organized, and proactive 2nd assistant to report to the 1st assistant and Principal.

  • Prioritize, coordinate, maintain and manage multiple calendars that are stacked and ever-changing at a moment’s notice

  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and adapt to changing priorities

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal - discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information and communication

  • Takes direction well

  • Be a team player w/ no task too small mindset

  • Must have valid passport

  • Must have their own reliable vehicle and drivers license

  • Tech Savvy

  • MUST love dogs

Admin

  • Execute day-to-day administrative tasks, including organizing documents, arranging deliveries/returns, updating contacts, organizing, lists, research, etc.

  • Heavy email load

  • Calendar admin - make/adjust appointments as needed

  • Update master Principal doc, glam recs, etc.

  • Update master riders and house guides, update account info, store info on google docs, updating contacts, address, etc. (both)

  • Computer back ups

  • Handle computer and phone tech issues

  • Birthday Gifting (Holidays, Production, Staff, Personal, etc.)

Principal’s Home

  • Work from Principal’s home during scheduled 5 work days every week when not on the road

  • Work with housekeeper to make sure house supplies stay stocked

  • Occasionally let vendors in the house and show them what needs to be done

  • Tech troubleshooting

  • Ordering for principals personal needs

  • Coordinating with Pharmacy for deliveries/pick-ups

  • Track staff hours and hand out checks

  • Vet communication for Principal’s dog

  • Coordinate with any house needs, vendors, track packages

  • Make sure Principal is packed for trips and bags are shipped properly ahead of time w/ tracking numbers and customs documents

Tour

  • Help Maintain Master Tour data

  • Restaurant research and recs, logistics and timing for events on the ground 

  • Organize and edit existing material

  • Travel with Principal on the road

  • Make sure openers have all essential details every night

Production / Shoots / Events / Social

  • Onset as needed

  • Capture photo and video content

  • PA on set

Other miscellaneous tasks/duties as needed

On-call and available if needed

Salary: 75k + OT, discretionary year-end bonus, medical paid by employer (employee will pay for any dependents), 3 weeks of PTO, 6 sick days, & ability to contribute to a 401k plan
