Head Housekeeper in Beverly Hills

This role involves making sure that entire 14k sq ft residence is always presentable and always in working order. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Staff Supervision: Responsible to ensure the staff (Staff Housekeeper, Laundress and Houseman) are implementing tasks properly and following protocols. Assign tasks to staff as needed and ensure tasks are completed properly and in a timely manner.

Cleaning: Full Charge Housekeeping in assigned zones. House cleaning (of all types) and performing deep-clean projects. Must be adept at organizing and general cleaning using only eco-friendly products; able to assess the task and perform it quickly and efficiently; knowledgeable about cleaning various surfaces using various cleaning and sanitation products, techniques, and methods; and skilled with laundry. Walk through assigned zones and those of the staff housekeeper.

Inventory: Taking Inventory and ensuring all areas are stocked properly in accordance with the list of toiletries for the family and household (less the child-related sundries and medications).

Dry Cleaning Management: Ensuring that the dry cleaning is sent out/retrieved efficiently and logged. Ensuring all items are properly placed in their respective closets. This is also handled by the Laundress on days present.

Flower and Plant Management: Ensuring all flowers and plants are watered daily/weekly as required while coordinating replacement and flowers/plants as needed.

Laundry: Assisting with laundry including towels, washing, ironing, packing/unpacking for travel, seasonal wardrobe management, and light mending, putting clothing away properly and maintaining the Laundry Room clean in conjunction with the Laundress on days present.

Organization: Ensuring all cabinets, drawers, closets, linen/towel storage in all rooms of the house are properly organized in accordance to photos displayed in the Organization Section of this manual. When changes occur, update the manual accordingly with new photos and directives.

Maintaining all cleaning equipment, materials, work stations and caddies in a safe and sanitary working condition and informing the Chief of Staff when items need to be replaced, replenished or have any other issues.

Vendor Management: Schedule and oversee vendors in conjunction with the Chief of Staff.

Reporting: to the principals and Chief of Staff

Schedule: Mon - Fri 9 AM - 6:30 PM

Salary: $40/Hour; PTO, Sick Leave, Health Insurance Stipend
