Full-Time Personal/Family Assistant in Beverlywood
We are seeking a proactive and organized Full-Time Personal/Family Assistant to support the smooth operations of a busy family home in Beverlywood. The family consists of 4 teenagers (one will be leaving home soon) and 2 small dogs. During the school year, the core schedule will be Mon-Fri 10:30am-6:30pm. This role will require a lot of flexibility as the schedule will fluctuate depending on the children’s activities (summer schedule will vary). The ideal candidate is incredibly organized, likes children, excels in a fast-paced environment, and possesses a “no task too big or too small” mentality. Huge plus if you can do more high-level cooking including dinner parties and other events. Please note this is a Kosher household.
Key Responsibilities:
Calendar and Scheduling: manage the family's calendars; schedule appointments; track school calendars, activities, and medical appointments; and maintain communication with relevant parties (e.g. schools, doctors, etc.)
Household Coordination: coordinate household vendors/contractors; assist with vacation planning including scheduling activities, calendaring, and research; and oversee and manage any home improvement projects
Errand and Organizational Support: perform household errands including grocery shopping and returns; and assist with general household organization and tasks
Child and Household Support: provide transportation for children to and from school and activities (mileage and gas reimbursed); assist with after-school routines including homework supervision and activity coordination; provide pet care assistance including taking the dogs to the vet; and occasional house-sitting
Food and Meal Prep Support: help prepare simple kosher meals for the family including meal prep, snacks, and simple family dinners (recipes provided)
Qualifications:
Prior experience in a similar role
Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle (that fits 4 teens) and car insurance
Comfortable with basic pet care and meal preparation
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proactive and willing to learn
Salary: $85-$100k + health stipend
