We are looking for a trustworthy full-time Personal Assistant/Companion for our client's elderly father (89 years) and his girlfriend (82 years) in Rolling Hills Estates. Neither of them require medical assistance, but our client wants someone there full-time to assist with daily living. Schedule is Mon-Fri 9am-5pm. The ideal candidate is friendly, smart, and proactive. The client is looking for someone who is polished and presents well. There is an elderly Great Dane on property, who is very mild-mannered, but you must be comfortable with XL dogs. Must have a clean driving record.

Responsibilities include:

  • Calendar management

  • Coordinate schedules/meetings/appointments

  • Communicate his schedule with necessary parties

  • Accompany him to doctors appointments and make sure he completes follow-up instructions

  • Ensure medication is taken properly

  • Driver duties (using his car)

  • Encourage him to get out of the house

  • Assist with daily activities

  • Ensure house is maintained (they have Housekeepers)

  • Ensure cars are charged and maintained

  • Light food prep



Salary: $35/hr + benefits
