Full Time Laundress/Housekeeper in Brentwood

We are looking to hire a proactive laundress in the Brentwood area. The ideal laundress for this client knows how to iron and press - sheets, shirts, dresses, pants, blouses etc. Important skills to possess are multitasking, speaking fluent English, great with kids and dogs, comfortable to perform housekeeping duties when laundry is done.

Responsibilities:

· Laundry and ironing for a family of 5 (2 adults and 3 kids)

· Work as a team with 3 other fantastic housekeepers

· Assist with pet care duties and feed dogs - occasionally

· Assist with occasional amazon orders

· Make beds and iron sheets

· Manage and organize household supplies and inventories

· Maintain chemical-free household

· Answer door and tend to pickups, deliveries, and general requests

Qualifications:

· Previous experience working as Laundress/Housekeeper in high-end private home

· Must be an excellent and experienced laundress

· Must be able to follow detailed instructions and work independently

· Must have a positive attitude

· Must be detail-oriented

· Fluent in English with effective communication skills

· Capable of producing a clear analysis and solution to any problem that may arise

· Must be dog friendly

· Driver's license, and dependable, insured vehicle

· Clean driving and criminal history (must pass a background check)

· Must be legal to work in the US

SCHEDULE

Monday - Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm

Compensation: $35-40/hr+ DOE. Overtime pay is offered and regularly available.

The Laundress/Housekeeper will report to the lady of the house as well as the House Manager, who will be responsible for overseeing the entire team.
