Full-Time Housekeeper/Dog Nanny in Pacific Palisades (Thu-Sun)

We are seeking an exceptional, experienced Full-Time Housekeeper to join a professionally maintained private household with multiple residences. The family's primary residence is located in Pacific Palisades, with weekend residences in Malibu and La Quinta. The position requires working across these residences (mileage reimbursement available) as needed and maintaining the same exceptional level of cleanliness, organization, presentation, and household standards at each property. This is a hands-on position for a polished, discreet, and highly detail-oriented professional who understands the standards and nuances of working within luxury private homes. The ideal candidate takes tremendous pride in maintaining beautiful residences, anticipates needs without being asked, and understands that exceptional private service requires meticulous attention to detail, flexibility, and respect for the family's privacy. Candidates with experience in high-end private residences, estates or five-star luxury hospitality are strongly preferred.

Schedule:

Thursday–Sunday: FLEXIBILITY IS ESSENTIAL. Hours will vary depending on household needs.

40+ hours per week, with overtime as needed.

The successful candidate must be highly flexible and available to adjust start and end times based on the family's schedule, location, guests, entertaining, special events, and other household needs. This position may require early mornings, later evenings, and extended hours when necessary. The ideal candidate understands the changing nature of a high-level private household and is comfortable adapting their schedule accordingly.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Maintain all residences to impeccable five-star standards of cleanliness, organization, and presentation

• Ensure consistency of household standards and preferences across all residences

• Possess excellent knowledge of the proper care and cleaning of high-end finishes, fine furnishings, specialty materials, fixtures, and delicate surfaces

• Proactively identify details requiring attention rather than waiting to be asked

• Assist with the family’s three large dogs, managing their daily care and routines

• Provide dog sitting, including overnight stays with the dogs, when required

• Provide meticulous laundry and garment care, including washing, stain treatment, ironing, steaming, folding, and proper storage

• Understand garment labels, fabrics, and appropriate laundering techniques

• Prepare healthy, fresh, flavorful meals as needed

• Handle grocery shopping and household food purchasing as needed, ensuring the residences are appropriately stocked

• Assist with meal preparation, serving, table setting, clearing, and clean-up

• Assist with entertaining and provide discreet, attentive service when guests are present

• Prepare residences in advance of family and guest arrivals

• Assist with opening, preparing, and resetting residences as the family moves between properties

• Anticipate household needs and discreetly refresh spaces without disrupting the family or their guests
