Full Time Housekeeper in Malibu
Professional couple looking for a full-time housekeeper (Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm) to help maintain their 4 bedroom / 4 bathroom property (Eastern Malibu, near Country Mart). They are a lovely and thoughtful couple, with 3 grown children who occasionally stay at their house. They treat everyone who enters their house like family. They have a couple of medium sized dogs who are gentle but bark.
They need someone who is going to be proactive, and keep the house clean and tidy (with particular focus on the kitchen, primary bedroom and all the bathrooms). They don’t like having clutter around the house. They are a family who likes to entertain, so there will be times when a heavy kitchen clean-up is needed. Outdoor furniture needs to be kept clean as well. They are looking for someone who will not hesitate to change light bulbs, batteries in smoke alarms, etc. without direction.
The couple travel for work and pleasure regularly so the housekeeper needs to be comfortable reporting back to me (their personal assistant) if there are any issues in the house. In particular, if appliances aren’t working properly, rugs needs to be sent out for deep cleaning, etc. The housekeeper may also be asked to run to the market for food and supplies, or to the dry cleaners.

The compensation package for the job is as follows:
$72,800 annualized salary payable bi-monthly
Participation in CEI approved medical benefit plan; CEI will pay 80% of employee’s premium and 50% of the premium for employee’s spouse and children
Participation in CEI approved 401K plan
2 weeks vacation
48 hours sick pay per year
Holiday: 5 days per year approved by employer
