Full Time Housekeeper in Brentwood

We are looking for a detail oriented housekeeper to join a team of 4 housekeepers in a 10k sq ft residence in Brentwood. This is a lovely high profile family we have worked with extensively, discretion is paramount! Salary will be $35/hour with medical benefits and IRA matching.

• Maintain all cleaning equipment, supplies, and products; ensure safe and sanitary storage and care of products

• Perform general sweeping, scrubbing, and mopping of hardwood, laminate, or tiled floors as needed

• Vacuum and clean carpets.

• Dispose of trash from bins and containers.

• Dust and polish furniture and room accessories as needed

• Scrub sinks, basins, bathtubs, showers, and toilets

• Change linens and gather used linens such as sheets or towels for laundering

• Clean windows, glass surfaces, mirrors, and counters as needed

• Keep all public spaces neat and tidy

• Report repairs and replacements needed when encountered

• Clean kitchen thoroughly – detailed work.

• Restock and keep track of all foodstuffs needed for kitchen and coordinate with Estate manager and chefs.

• Organize kids’ closets

• Work in conjunction with three other housekeepers on a structured schedule.

Housekeeper Requirements and Qualifications

• Ability to follow a structured schedule and adhere to strict cleaning guidelines

• Able to adapt to change – this is a very busy household and sometimes there are changes to a regular schedule.

• Availability to work overtime if necessary and an occasional weekend day if necessary.

• Previous experience cleaning a must.

• Ability to get along with other members of the staff.

• Detail oriented when cleaning – a MUST.

• Organized and able to follow a schedule

• Ability to follow verbal directions and adapt to the culture of the house.

• Patience

• Ok with Dogs (we have one)

Schedule as follows....Mon/Wed - 9 AM - 5:30 PM Tue/Thur - 8 AM - 4:30 PM. Sat 1 PM - 8 PM
